What you will do

• Plan, design, and execute system-level and hardware verification tests for the embedded OCT imaging platform, including integration of optical, electrical, and mechanical subsystems.
• Build, configure, and operate hardware test setups (instrumentation, fixtures, and data acquisition) for performance and reliability characterization.
• Verify hardware and system behavior against requirements and design specifications by analyzing measured data for conformance.
• Investigate and root-cause system-level failures and collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering to drive resolution.
• Maintain test documentation, traceability, and reports in compliance with the quality management system and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years of medical device development experience, including design verification, testing, and compliance with IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
• Strong background in hardware and embedded systems engineering, including electronics, electrical systems, EMC, and hardware testing.
• Proficiency in software development for testing and scripting/programming, preferably with Python and LabVIEW.
• Hands-on experience with system integration, data acquisition, and troubleshooting using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of medical imaging technologies and healthcare systems with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
