Accounting Partner Lead (Fintech): Building and growing a network of accounting and CPA firm partners to drive referrals and implementation support with an accent on channel strategy and partner lifecycle management. Focus on identifying and recruiting firms, structuring partnership economics, and enabling partners to effectively recommend and implement accounting software.

What you will do

  • Identify and recruit accounting firms, CPA practices, and outsourced bookkeeping providers as channel partners.
  • Manage the full partner lifecycle, including onboarding, training, certification, and ongoing account management.
  • Design and negotiate partnership terms, such as referral structures, revenue share, and co-selling agreements.
  • Develop partner enablement content, training materials, and playbooks to ensure partner success.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to convert partner referrals into pipeline and manage client handoffs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand presence within the CPA community.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development within the fintech or B2B SaaS ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of how accounting and CPA firms operate and make software recommendations.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and growing channel relationships from scratch.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills for working with firm partners and finance leaders.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment and manage performance metrics.
  • Must be willing to travel periodically for partner meetings and industry events.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working at an accounting or bookkeeping firm.
  • Existing professional relationships within the CPA or outsourced accounting community.
  • Experience building a partnerships function or program from an early stage.
