What you will do

• Lead as a subject matter expert on high-priority projects across legal, regulatory, and technical domains.
• Conduct DPIAs, TIAs, and AI conformity assessments to ensure privacy-by-design.
• Partner with procurement, security, and operations teams to manage third-party risk and contractual controls.
• Design and oversee the implementation of data and AI policies and governance processes.
• Manage regulatory enquiries, DSARs, and incident response investigations.
• Support executive reporting and enterprise risk management initiatives.

Requirements

• U.S.-qualified attorney with significant in-house experience in tech or AI sectors.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state data laws, EU/UK GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders without authority.
• Professional privacy or AI certifications such as IAPP CIPM, CIPP/E, or AIGP.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Must be based in the U.S.
