What you will do

• Manage and lead all stages of child protection and GBV programmes from strategic formulation to sustainable implementation.
• Establish action plans to ensure programme results according to RBM approaches and hirify.global’s Strategic Plans.
• Provide advisory services and technical support to create protective environments for women and children.
• Lead advocacy, networking, and partnership building to protect children's rights to survival and development.
• Drive innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building within the child protection section.

Requirements

• Master's degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, law, or relevant social science.
• Minimum of 10 years of international work experience in child protection, social development planning, or management.
• Proven experience in GBV, humanitarian response, policy advocacy, and systems strengthening.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be based in Juba, South Sudan.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language.
• Experience in fragile settings, humanitarian contexts, or with UN system agencies.
• Experience scaling pilot initiatives or supervising workforce professionalization.
• Expertise in evidence-based reintegration for conflict-affected children.
