Communication Associate (PR)

TL;DR

Communication Associate (PR): Coordinating information gathering and content production for children's rights advocacy in Gaza with an accent on human-interest storytelling and social media management. Focus on producing high-quality communication assets, maintaining media partnerships, and managing administrative operational tasks.

What you will do

• Collect information and conduct interviews to draft human-interest stories, photo essays, and social media posts.
• Organize special events and prepare communication materials for media, donors, and goodwill ambassadors.
• Update and maintain content on hirify.global social media platforms in English and Arabic.
• Coordinate with contractors (photographers, designers, translators) to produce and quality-control advocacy assets.
• Manage administrative tasks including budget tracking, payments, and maintaining a documentation center.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Completion of secondary education (preferably supplemented by university courses in communications).
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Gaza, State of Palestine.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other official UN languages (Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
• Experience in media production, social media management, or media relations.
• Experience working in development, fragile settings, and humanitarian contexts.
