What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build intuitive user experiences for insurance, payments, claims, and financial services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
• Integrate backend APIs while ensuring application stability, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Optimize app performance, including startup time, rendering, ANR rates, and memory usage.
• Implement AI-assisted features that provide genuine value to the end-user.

Requirements

• 3+ years of native Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong experience building and shipping production-grade Android applications.
• Solid understanding of Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Android lifecycle, performance optimization, and platform best practices.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed remote engineering team.

Nice to have

• GitHub or Google Play links showcasing shipped native Android applications.
• Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
