What you will do

• Manage and mentor maintenance team members at the site, including one-on-one coaching and performance development.
• Oversee repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance for electrical and mechanical equipment, specifically conveyor and sorting systems.
• Develop and implement work procedures, standards, and QA/QC inspection protocols for all personnel.
• Act as a liaison between account managers, planners, customers, and the maintenance department.
• Ensure all maintenance objectives, key metrics, and company/customer regulations are met.
• Assign job plans and manage departmental goals based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Sacramento, California.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or Management (or 3-5 years of equivalent management experience).
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs, pneumatics, power transmissions, and shop math.
• Ability to operate heavy industrial equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as required.
• Possession of or capability to obtain CMRP or ICML MLT 1 certification.
