What you will do

• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering and establish the standards and scaffolding required for scale.
• Drive automation across the software lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated testing, to shorten time to release.
• Define and implement an engineering productivity framework based on DORA and cycle-time metrics.
• Set the software engineering strategy, multi-year technical roadmap, and technology-stack direction.
• Establish architecture direction and design standards for security, reliability, and performance across the estate.
• Lead and develop senior technical leadership, including the Head of Development and Enterprise Architect.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software engineering leadership at scale, driving structural changes in how software is built.
• Direct experience introducing AI and automation into engineering workflows.
• Deep grounding in Continuous Delivery, DevOps, cloud technologies, and productivity measurement.
• Strong architecture background with experience running a Technical Design Authority.
• Track record of establishing engineering standards and reusable foundations.
• Experience in engineering organization design, operating models, and executive-level influence.
