What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services for high-volume data processing and APIs.
• Design and improve data ingestion, streaming, and event processing for both batch and real-time workloads.
• Operate and optimize cloud-based platforms using AWS (S3, Glue, Spark, Airflow, EKS).
• Enhance observability, reliability, and operational tooling for production systems.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code via Terraform.
• Collaborate with software engineers and analysts to deliver reliable data products.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong proficiency in software development with C++, Python, Go, or Rust.
• Deep experience with AWS and data engineering architectures for ingestion and transformation.
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Must be able to work from the Stockholm office.
• English: Professional working proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Machine Learning concepts and data platforms supporting ML workloads.
• Experience working with high-volume real-time telemetry or tracking data.
• Domain knowledge in aviation data standards (e.g., ADS-B).
