Test Technician (Engineering)

TL;DR

Test Technician (Engineering): Performing sub-assembly, base-assembly, and final configuration testing for ATE models with an accent on debug and repair of PCBA failures. Focus on hardware/software validation, high-voltage electrical testing, and process improvement for quality and reliability.

Location: Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. Must be local to the position location; no relocation or visa sponsorship provided.

What you will do

• Perform sub-assembly, base-assembly, and final configuration tests, debugs, and repairs for ATE models and platforms.
• Conduct software verification provided by Test engineers and troubleshoot PCBA failures.
• Perform High Pot (electrical) tests and troubleshoot any failures.
• Collaborate with Test, Process, and Quality engineers to improve assembly processes and reliability.
• Review and buy-off kitted materials and parts endorsed from the material controller.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics Technology, Industrial Electronics, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of work experience as a Test Technician.
• Proven experience in system and board-level test and debugging.
• Proficiency in computer operation and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Must be based in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines.
• English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers.
