What you will do
- Conceptualize, prototype, and build data solutions cross-functionally with Product and subject matter experts.
- Unify and augment multi-source healthcare datasets into high-quality, analytics-ready data models.
- Build and maintain data engineering systems that support diverse downstream processes and products.
- Develop, maintain, and test data pipelines to ensure reliability.
- Draft internal and external technical documentation.
- Iterate quickly on technical solutions based on product feedback.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing data models, pipelines, and analytical solutions using Python and SQL.
- Proven ability to design data systems with scalability, performance, and cost efficiency for compute-intensive workloads.
- Strong grasp of data architecture, ETL/ELT workflows, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt), and cloud storage (e.g., S3, Redshift).
- Must be based in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with revenue cycle, healthcare payments, or medical billing.
- Thoughtful use of AI coding agents and LLMs in development workflows.
- Knowledge of healthcare entity structures and interactions.
- Experience in a research-intensive field.
