What you will do

• Maintain the General Ledger for German legal entities according to Group accounting policies, IFRS, HGB, and local statutory requirements.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual audits, and local reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist with monthly VAT returns and related tax compliance activities.
• Collaborate with international finance teams on global intercompany reconciliation processes.
• Contribute to ERP system improvements and finance projects to enhance internal controls and efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt) or active studies towards one.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and HGB standards.
• Experience in General Ledger or Legal Entity Accounting within a medium to large international organization.
• Experience with ERP systems; Workday Financials is considered a plus.
• Fluent German and English proficiency required.
