Senior Performance Engineer (Locust)

What you will do

• Design and build performance test suites for microservices and shared platform components on AWS.
• Define KPIs, baselines, and thresholds to improve reliability and support release readiness.
• Collaborate with DevX, Platform Engineering, and SDET teams to embed performance testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Analyze application logs and observability data to detect degradations and establish actionable insights.
• Execute non-functional tests, including load, stress, spike, and endurance scenarios.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues across APIs, databases, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in performance testing for cloud-hosted, microservices-based SaaS platforms on AWS.
• Strong experience with performance testing tools such as k6, Gatling, Locust, or JMeter.
• Proficiency with observability and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch).
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Python for test scenarios and analysis.
• Fluent English communication skills.
