TL;DR

What you will do

  • Analyze counterparties’ financial statements to recommend and monitor appropriate credit limits.
  • Act as a professional business partner to the Front Office, communicating sound credit opinions and innovative risk-reduction solutions.
  • Monitor credit exposure and risk measures, pro-actively managing breaches and exceptions.
  • Perform and continuously monitor KYC (Know Your Customer) assessments according to company processes.
  • Maintain relationships with counterparty credit departments to maximize credit lines and optimize liquidity.
  • Lead and coordinate credit risk projects, presenting workable results to management within deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or similar qualification.
  • Long term experience in a credit role within an energy company, bank, or rating agency.
  • Deep understanding of Credit Risk Management and exposure assessment in commodity trading or banking environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to produce well-structured credit proposals under tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of KYC onboarding and assessment processes.
  • Knowledge of energy markets (natural gas, power, oil, LNG) or financial market products.
