TL;DR
Technical Product Manager (AI): Driving AI-enabled product delivery across a road safety technology portfolio with an accent on turning complex information into clear requirements and delivery priorities. Location: Hybrid; must be based in Melbourne, Victoria (working from home and South Melbourne head office)

What you will do
- Own product outcomes across customer-facing road safety programs.
- Translate customer, operational, and technical needs into clear PRDs and Jira backlog items.
- Utilize AI-enabled workflows for requirements synthesis, document analysis, and specification development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, integration, security, and compliance decisions.
- Maintain visibility across scope, risks, dependencies, and quality outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through better process design and AI workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management, product ownership, senior business analysis, or technology delivery.
- Strong technical literacy regarding architecture diagrams, API specifications, and compliance frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in product, technology, business, systems, data, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with AI workflows, command-line tools, or platforms such as Claude Code and Power Automate.
- Must be based in Melbourne, Victoria for hybrid work.
Nice to have
- Experience in enterprise, government, regulated industries, road safety, SaaS, or systems integration environments.
