What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of a subset of 300+ RESTful microservices, including architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
• Lead and manage a team of approximately 5 developers, conducting 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Contribute directly to the codebase through hands-on development and task completion.
• Ensure high quality through code reviews and enforcement of architecture best practices.
• Mentor team members and lead the hiring process for new developers.
• Drive efficiency by integrating AI coding assistants into the development workflow.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading developer teams and software projects.
• 5+ years of professional experience with modern Java and clean code practices.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot (Spring Cloud preferred).
• Deep understanding of microservice architectures and AWS (ECS, SQS/SNS, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Strong ability to translate business needs into pragmatic API designs.
