Electrical Engineer (Energy Solutions)

What you will do

• Design and develop electrical systems for distribution centers, commercial buildings, and battery energy storage systems.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Develop and configure PLC software, integrating communication protocols such as Modbus TCP within Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Prepare functional descriptions, operation manuals, and test procedures including FAT and SAT.
• Provide technical support to project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable regulations and standards, including NEN 3140 and IEC 62040.

Requirements

• MBO or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, or SEE Electrical.
• Knowledge of Modbus TCP and experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and/or SCADA systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy storage systems or renewable energy solutions.
• Proficiency in Dutch.
