What you will do

• Develop responsive email designs and mobile-compatible banners and advertisements.
• Create JavaScript animations using libraries such as Greensock.
• Optimize HTML, CSS, and JS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum file size.
• Collaborate with design teams, tech leads, and project managers to ensure implementation matches design specifications.
• Perform QA testing using Litmus or similar tools to ensure browser and email client compatibility.
• Coach and support other Email Developers in improving their technical skills.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years of specific experience in email development.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, supported by a digital portfolio with dynamic email samples.
• Experience with Photoshop and Sketch for manipulating assets.
• Strong knowledge of modern web standards and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Must be located in Mauritius

Nice to have

• Exposure to JavaScript and CMS platforms like Drupal or WordPress.
• Knowledge of pre-processed CSS styling such as SASS or LESS.
• Experience using repositories like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of W3C Standards.
• Proficiency in graphic design for web using Illustrator.
