TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Poland and available to travel to the office in Łódź as needed

What you will do
- Design, build, and own features end-to-end from requirements through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Develop maintainable backend services using Java/Kotlin and the Spring Boot framework.
- Participate in system design discussions and architecture reviews to influence technical decisions.
- Integrate generative AI tools like Claude, Cursor, and Copilot into the daily development workflow.
- Manage services in production through on-call rotations and proactive observability.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through pairing, knowledge sharing, and constructive code reviews.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Competence in designing scalable distributed systems using microservices architecture.
- Must be based in Poland with the ability to travel to the Łódź office.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong testing mindset with experience in TDD and quality tools like SonarQube or JaCoCo.
Nice to have
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Codex).
