What you will do

  • Create high-quality stylized textures and materials that align with the project's art direction.
  • Translate concept art into clear, readable, and visually appealing texture work for assets.
  • Build texture sets for characters, environments, and props while respecting technical constraints.
  • Optimize textures and materials for real-time performance and Unreal Engine integration.
  • Develop reusable materials, tileables, trimsheets, atlases, and texture libraries to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Art Direction, Concept, Modeling, Tech Art, Lighting, and VFX teams to solve artistic challenges.

Requirements

  • Mid-Senior level experience in texture artistry.
  • Strong ability to create high-quality stylized textures and materials.
  • Proficiency in optimizing assets for real-time performance in Unreal Engine.
  • Ability to build efficient, reusable texture pipelines and libraries.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Bucharest, Romania.
