hirify.global is a gaming company scaling its Platform Engineering function to provide product engineers with a faster and safer infrastructure foundation.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain Fortinet-based network fabric (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, SD-WAN, BGP, IPsec) using Terraform, Ansible, and Git-based workflows.
• Develop self-service network primitives with guardrails to allow Product Engineers to ship without infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Embed cybersecurity standards into IaC pipelines and partner with the Security team on threat modeling and compliance.
• Implement and maintain telemetry using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure measurable reliability.
• Evaluate new tooling, eliminate friction, and evolve the platform alongside peers.
• Share expertise to raise the bar on automation, security, and reliability standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in network engineering, with 2+ years in a platform or IaC-oriented role.
• Expert-level proficiency with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiSwitch), WAN/SD-WAN, BGP, IPsec, and L2/L3 switching.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for network and systems automation.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go scripting for network automation and tooling.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and GitOps (Git, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, anti-DDoS, Magic Transit, Zero Trust / SASE).
• Knowledge of cloud-native networking, including Kubernetes, Cilium, eBPF, and Envoy Gateway.
• Aruba switching experience or Datadog for observability.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, or HPE Alletra for compute and storage.
• Software development background beyond scripting in Python or Go.
