What you will do
- Provide compliance domain expertise and solutions for retail banking and payments features.
- Act as a key stakeholder and liaison between first-line (1LoD) and second-line (2LoD) compliance teams.
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks throughout the product lifecycle to ensure smooth launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cutting-edge compliance policies.
- Serve as the primary expert and liaison with regulatory bodies, managing audits and requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance.
- Must be based in New Zealand.
- Strong understanding of the interaction between compliance risk and business risk.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- STEM or other highly quantitative degree from a top university.
- Experience working in a bank, strategy consultancy, or a fast-growing technology company.
