What you will do

• Provide compliance domain expertise and solutions for retail banking and payments features.
• Act as a key stakeholder and liaison between first-line (1LoD) and second-line (2LoD) compliance teams.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks throughout the product lifecycle to ensure smooth launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cutting-edge compliance policies.
• Serve as the primary expert and liaison with regulatory bodies, managing audits and requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance.
• Must be based in New Zealand.
• Strong understanding of the interaction between compliance risk and business risk.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• STEM or other highly quantitative degree from a top university.
• Experience working in a bank, strategy consultancy, or a fast-growing technology company.
