What you will do

• Design and maintain embedded software for industrial drives and inverters.
• Implement firmware features in C for microcontrollers and real-time embedded systems.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of software in lab and prototype environments.
• Validate software and conduct functional testing.
• Implement industrial communication protocols including Ethernet, EtherCAT, and CAN/CANopen.
• Collaborate with international HW, quality, and technical support teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience with embedded systems software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and C#.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, RS232).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Genova, Italy.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronic circuits design and microcontroller integration.
• Experience with VHDL firmware programming.
