What you will do
- Design and maintain embedded software for industrial drives and inverters.
- Implement firmware features in C for microcontrollers and real-time embedded systems.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of software in lab and prototype environments.
- Validate software and conduct functional testing.
- Implement industrial communication protocols including Ethernet, EtherCAT, and CAN/CANopen.
- Collaborate with international HW, quality, and technical support teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with embedded systems software development.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and C#.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, RS232).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Genova, Italy.
Nice to have
- Experience in electronic circuits design and microcontroller integration.
- Experience with VHDL firmware programming.
