TL;DR

HR Health & Wellbeing Partner (Absence Management): Managing employee health, wellbeing, and sustainable employability with an accent on absence management and Dutch occupational health regulations. Focus on guiding employees through reintegration processes and ensuring compliance with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter.

Location: Hybrid working in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Candidate must be based in the Netherlands due to Dutch labour legislation and collaboration with UWV).

Salary: €4,500 – €5,500 gross per month

What you will do

  • Develop, implement, and improve health, wellbeing, and absence management policies.
  • Manage long-term absence cases and guide employees and managers through the reintegration process.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter and Dutch labour legislation.
  • Coordinate with external occupational health providers and act as the primary contact for the UWV.
  • Analyze absence data to provide management insights, trends, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain and review the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E).

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and spoken) is strictly required.
  • Deep knowledge of Dutch labour legislation and the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter.
  • Higher professional education (HBO) level, preferably in Human Resources Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR, specifically in absence or case management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
