What you will do

• Lead structural design engineering and analysis for substation equipment and energy infrastructure.
• Perform structural calculations, prepare sketches, and generate project-specific specifications.
• Supervise structural engineers and technicians, serving as the responsible charge for projects.
• Manage project administrative tasks including design fee estimates, budget monitoring, and schedule adherence.
• Conduct construction phase engineering duties such as site visits and review of contractor submittals.
• Coordinate work across disciplines and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Active PE License required to support engineer of record requirements.
• Intermediate knowledge of structural engineering design principles and standards.
• Experience with 3D analysis software such as RISA 3D or STAAD Pro.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with utility-scale electrical substations or renewable energy projects.
• Foundation design experience using software like LPile, RISA Foundation, or SP-Mats.
