Technology Team Leader (PLM)

Technology Team Leader (PLM): Improving the efficiency of PLM tools and processes (Teamcenter) and developing analytics solutions to support data-driven business decisions with an accent on engineering lifecycle management and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on prioritizing system requirements, driving efficiency in product development, and contributing to AI and data analytics initiatives.

Location: Must be based in Cary, NC, Clayton, NC, or Sanford, NC. This position requires 5 days per week in the office.

Salary: $112,710 - $169,060

What you will do

• Act as the single point of contact for PLM within the BCP business unit.
• Plan for future PLM needs, including funding, training, testing, and system integration.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to set and achieve quality metrics for Teamcenter.
• Prioritize and resolve top PLM issues while communicating effectively with leadership and end users.
• Publish dashboards to enable teams to develop products more effectively and address customer concerns.
• Validate new versions of PLM software and represent business needs during evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM software.
• Understanding of engineering drawing release processes and team roles within PLM.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines including engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in North Carolina.

Nice to have

• Experience with Creo and electronic data systems (EDS).
• Knowledge of Snowflake, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with structure manager and bill of material (BOM) tools.
• Basic knowledge of data science applications in manufacturing.
• Experience with NPI and CPI programs.
