What you will do
- Design and deliver GBV activities including training, resources, and awareness events aligned with DFAT standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk identification to ensure activities remain on track.
- Build and nurture partnerships with faith-based organizations, service providers, and government agencies across the Pacific and Timor-Leste.
- Coordinate with the GEDSI team and government stakeholders to integrate GBV prevention into broader program strategies.
- Develop culturally appropriate educational materials for diverse Pacific and Timor-Leste contexts.
- Explore the application of AI and data technology to improve program efficiency and impact.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Gender Studies, International Development, or related social science.
- Professional experience in GBV prevention and/or response programming.
- Technical expertise in GBV programming within the Pacific or Timor-Leste context.
- Valid work rights for Australia or Fiji.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, integrity, and ethical development practices.
