What you will do

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure safe, smooth, and predictable vehicle behavior in complex social driving scenarios.
• Frame open-ended real-world challenges into well-defined engineering problems.
• Develop and refine algorithms, tools, and evaluation mechanisms for autonomous navigation.
• Scale solutions to handle massive data pipelines and optimize them for real-time execution on vehicle hardware.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, ML, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ with a focus on efficient, high-performance code.
• Must be able to work onsite in Mountain View, San Francisco, or Pittsburgh.
• Experience collaborating effectively across different engineering teams.

Nice to have

• MS in Computer Science, ML, or Robotics.
• Proven experience solving motion planning or related robotics problems.
• Experience in developing or evaluating ML-based systems.
