What you will do

• Advise the business on local regulatory requirements and necessary controls for compliant product delivery.
• Interpret Colombian data privacy regulations and translate them into actionable business requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies including the SIC and SFC regarding inspections and day-to-day queries.
• Identify, assess, and report on regulatory and compliance risks.
• Develop and implement local compliance management frameworks, including policies and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with global DPOs to align local risk management frameworks with global standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Colombia
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance within a financial institution, fintech, or consultancy.
• Expertise in Colombian data privacy and financial regulations, specifically with SIC and SFC expectations.
• Ability to conduct regulatory gap analysis and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong familiarity with policy creation and implementation.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on emerging financial products and compliance frameworks.

• Professional certificate or diploma in compliance or data privacy.
