What you will do

  • Design and own end-to-end data ingestion from source systems into BigQuery using Airflow, Dataflow, and Python.
  • Model data using dbt and deliver actionable insights through Hex dashboards.
  • Build and scale data pipelines to handle multi-terabyte tables and billions of events.
  • Manage data platform infrastructure as code using Pulumi.
  • Partner with growth, finance, and product teams to translate business needs into reliable data models.
  • Integrate AI tooling into daily workflows while maintaining production accountability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines and warehouses.
  • Deep expertise with the stack: GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Dataflow, and infrastructure as code (Pulumi or Terraform).
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to bridge the gap between pipeline engineering and data analysis.
  • Proven experience building AI into daily workflows with a focus on human-in-the-loop accountability.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and designing for scale in a fast-growing environment.
