What you will do

• Build and maintain core platform infrastructure serving as the foundation for engineering teams.
• Design and implement standardized, reusable cloud infrastructure patterns and templates using Terraform.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions to enable secure and reliable deployments.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend while maintaining SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for service reliability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver solutions that enhance developer productivity.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct design reviews to raise technical standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, specifically with Infrastructure as Code.
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform, including module development and multi-environment workflows.
• 4+ years of experience managing and maintaining Linux systems.
• 3+ years of experience with Python for automation and scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPCs, load balancers, and DNS.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues across networking, compute, and storage layers.

Nice to have

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or Cloud Practitioner).
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Fundamentals of running AI-related services.
• Experience with internal developer portals like Backstage.
