Compensation: $175,000 - $190,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead architecture and development for high-scale, video-rich iOS applications.
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of iOS engineers while fostering a culture of ownership.
• Oversee deep integrations with video playback (HLS, DASH) and personalization engines.
• Drive engineering standards including automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to deliver user-first features.
• Own KPIs such as app performance, crash-free sessions, and release cadence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of iOS development experience, including 2+ years in a management or lead role.
• Expert-level knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and AVFoundation.
• Proven experience building and maintaining iOS applications at scale for video platforms.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and secure data handling.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Bitrise, Fastlane, and GitHub Actions.
• Must be able to work onsite in Englewood Cliffs, NJ at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building apps for high-traffic media or streaming brands.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and mobile compliance standards.
• Familiarity with personalization, content tagging, or ML-driven content systems.
