Manager, Strategy and Planning (SaaS): Leading incentive compensation design, commercial planning, and financial forecasting for a high-growth GTM organization with an accent on aligning sales incentives with corporate growth objectives. Focus on building complex financial frameworks, managing commission governance for 500+ roles, and presenting strategic recommendations directly to C-level leadership.
Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA; role is 100% onsite (5 days a week)
Salary: $130,000–$170,000 + 15% target bonus

What you will do
- Own end-to-end design, implementation, and governance of Sales Incentive Plans (SIPs) for 500+ commissioned roles.
- Manage monthly and quarterly commission calculations, payouts, and forecasting in partnership with FP&A.
- Lead annual quota-setting processes and develop capacity models accounting for headcount and segment mix.
- Direct Bookings forecasting and reconcile operational models with financial reporting.
- Present strategic findings and recommendations directly to the CRO and CFO.
- Manage and develop a team of three to four analysts across compensation and commercial planning.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, commercial finance, or GTM strategy
- 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Strong analytical fluency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience with BI tools
- Ability to translate complex analytics into plain language for senior executive stakeholders
Nice to have
- MBA or post-graduate degree
- Experience with compensation platforms like Xactly or Varicent
- Familiarity with financial planning tools like Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
- Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
