What you will do

• Lead data engineering squads by setting objectives, driving team growth, and providing coaching and mentorship.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures across internal, third-party, and cloud-based sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources.
• Partner with data scientists and business teams to improve data models feeding BI tools and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Implement data engineering best practices including performance tuning, monitoring, and documentation.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies; support execution of the broader data strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• 8+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with media-specific data platforms, including content management systems, ad tech, and digital media analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong background designing and building high-performance data systems (data lakes, data warehouses, real-time pipelines) and scaling teams of data engineers.
