Salary: $29.00–$36.00/hr (with bonus structure)

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) operates Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers and provides opioid addiction treatment services.

What you will do

  • Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and required group sessions.
  • Perform intake/readmission services, collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information, and provide supportive follow-up counseling.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain comprehensive patient treatment plans and records.
  • Provide crisis intervention, inter-agency documentation, and coordinate care with community providers as needed.
  • Make appropriate referrals and perform necessary follow-ups; support caseload management and program operations.
  • Comply with federal, state, local, and accrediting agency regulatory requirements; participate in required training and conferences.

Requirements

  • Licensure in Minnesota: Must have an active LADC, ADC, or ADC-T in the state of MN.
  • Ability to make decisions and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Ability to react quickly and make effective decisions in stressful or undesirable situations; seek direction from supervisors when necessary.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning, with understanding of human behavior to support rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with federal and state regulations regarding certification, licensure, and degree.
