What you will do

• Perform validation and verification testing for new features and product fixes.
• Develop and maintain robust test automation pipelines within a continuous integration environment.
• Assess code coverage and identify testing gaps to ensure high-quality software.
• Automate manual tasks using scripting languages and appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to provide Quality Assurance subject matter expertise.
• Coordinate with management and internal teams to align testing with business objectives.

Requirements

• Practical experience in mainframe development and testing environments.
• Proficiency with Job Control Language (JCL) for batch workload.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, JSON, and REXX.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD test automation frameworks like Jenkins.
• Solid grasp of security protocols and ESMs.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST API Automation (RestAssured).
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Junit/TestNG frameworks.
• Experience with JMeter for stress and load testing.
