TL;DR

Team Lead Backend Developer (Node.js): Lead a cross-functional team building a payment integration platform and in-house fintech backend with an accent on performance, scalability, and security. What you will do

  • Lead backend development for an in-house fintech platform with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and security.
  • Build and manage complex payment API integrations with banks, PSPs, and third-party services.
  • Contribute to backend development to ensure consistency and stability across the product.
  • Drive architecture evolution toward modern patterns such as microservices, messaging systems, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Manage delivery by setting requirements, schedules, delegating tasks, and tracking daily/weekly/monthly goals.
  • Support team growth through hiring, training, motivation, and transparent communication about challenges and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional IT experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of commercial Node.js experience and 5+ years of commercial web development experience.
  • Commercial experience implementing REST and WebSockets; strong JavaScript (ECMAScript 6) knowledge.
  • Experience with Git, MySQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
  • English: B2 level.
