Proposal Writer (Marketing/Sales): Crafting strategic, persuasive proposals for higher education clients with an accent on interpreting complex RFPs and aligning them with agency capabilities. Focus on building compelling arguments, managing proposal timelines, and collaborating with subject matter experts to drive enrollment growth.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (Remote-first with hybrid/onsite options in Raleigh, NC).

What you will do

• Interpret and diagnose client needs from complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Write persuasive, strategic proposals that maintain a consistent, confident brand voice.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define project scope, deliverables, and cost estimates.
• Manage the full proposal lifecycle, including deadlines, information gathering, and final submission.
• Maintain accurate deal information and communication logs within HubSpot.
• Support internal client onboarding for won accounts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, English, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in written communication with the ability to distill complex ideas into simple, persuasive explanations.
• Experience producing high-stakes written work under tight deadlines.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with HubSpot CRM.
• Background in an agency setting.
• Experience selling integrated marketing services.
• Prior experience in or selling to the higher education sector.
