TL;DR
Business Applications Developer (Microsoft Power Platform): Designing and building automated business solutions and BI systems using MS 365 and Power Platform with an accent on workflow automation and data visualization. Focus on developing Power BI dashboards, complex Power Automate flows, and Azure-based integrations to improve operational efficiency.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Kenya or South Africa); Working hours: Must align with US EST business hours

What you will do
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and scalable data models using DAX and Power Query.
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows, Power Apps solutions, and custom connectors.
- Develop Azure-based integrations using Azure Functions, APIs, and webhooks.
- Create Microsoft Teams applications, bots, and AI-powered agents via Copilot Studio.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable technical implementations.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide user training and support.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of development experience with Microsoft technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
- Advanced experience with Power Automate and hands-on experience with Azure Functions.
- Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills.
- Experience working with REST APIs and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint).
- Must be based in Kenya or South Africa and available to work EST-aligned U.S. business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience with Dataverse, Microsoft Graph API, and enterprise-scale automation.
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio and AI-powered workflow automation.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and security within Microsoft environments.
