Salary: $180,375 – $200,850

What you will do

• Own and evolve systems powering new and emerging sports, from data modeling and storage to app delivery.
• Design and build backend services to deliver first-class sport experiences to millions of athletes.
• Execute product work for the Next Sports team and contribute to broader architecture decisions.
• Participate in technical design reviews, write design documents, and shape the team's technical direction.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of writing production-ready software with a focus on monitoring and operational health.
• Solid backend engineering experience with distributed systems and scaling trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with SQL or column stores.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Ruby, Scala, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
