Salary: $139,200 - $235,200 USD (for US residents)

What you will do

• Design and implement authentication features across the Rails monolith and the new GATE identity plane.
• Migrate authentication and token management paths from the monolith into a centralized Go service.
• Build new authentication mechanisms from the ground up, including Workload Identity Federation and passwordless options.
• Bolster security by addressing vulnerabilities reported through the HackerOne program.
• Solve high-complexity technical problems across both Go and Ruby codebases.
• Define and advocate for internal engineering standards and best practices through rigorous code review.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Go and/or Ruby in scaling mission-critical SaaS products.
• Deep familiarity with IAM technologies such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SSO, SCIM, LDAP, JWT, and RBAC.
• Knowledge of token systems, cryptographic signing, and key management.
• Experience bringing a service from initial concept to production.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English for a remote, asynchronous work environment.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
