What you will do
- Configure and maintain Workday Absence Management, including leave plans, eligibility rules, and notifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents, performing root cause analysis to ensure operational stability.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements and operational initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for releases and configuration changes.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, data quality, and compliance.
- Create and maintain documentation and job aids to support user adoption and system consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Absence Management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting ticket resolution and day-to-day operational support.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Workday Benefits and/or Payroll configuration.
- Experience working in a multi-unionized environment.
- Background in healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
- Workday certification(s).
- Experience with system implementations or acquisitions.
