TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid role)

What you will do

  • Lead, design, and optimize research focused on next-generation in-vivo CAR-T therapies.
  • Isolate immune cells and execute evaluations using in-vitro assays and in-vivo mouse models.
  • Perform cell biology techniques including cell culture, transfection, FACS, and functional assays.
  • Package and titer engineered viruses, characterizing particles with protein and PCR-based assays.
  • Manage and evaluate critical research data using electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
  • Present research results to internal groups and forums to meet project timelines.

Requirements

  • Recent PhD graduate in Immunology or related life sciences discipline (within the last 5 years).
  • 3-4 years of experience in cell and gene therapy required.
  • Extensive experience in immune cell-based analytics, including multi-parameter flow-cytometry and ELISA/MSD multiplex assays.
  • Experience with lentivirus particle characterization and quantification using molecular and flow-based assays.
  • Deep knowledge of immunology, immunotherapy, and solid tumor models.
  • Proficiency in advanced gene delivery methods using LVV, VLP, or LNP technologies.

Nice to have

  • Experience with solid tumor models and in-vivo cell-specific gene delivery.
  • Prior experience with in-vivo CAR-T research.
