Smart Contract Engineer (Web3)

We are looking for a skilled Blockchain Developer / Smart Contract Engineer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and maintain secure smart contracts for decentralised applications, DeFi products, and blockchain protocols.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, gas-efficient, and maintainable smart contracts for DeFi and blockchain applications.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using frameworks like Foundry, Hardhat, or Anchor.
• Review smart contracts for security vulnerabilities, bugs, and protocol-level risks, including mitigating threats like flash loans, oracle manipulation, and MEV.
• Utilize security analysis tools such as Slither, Mythril, Echidna, or Tenderly.
• Support the full development lifecycle, including audits, bug fixes, secure deployments, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Document technical decisions, protocol assumptions, and security considerations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Solidity and EVM-based smart contracts.
• Hands-on experience with Foundry and/or Hardhat.
• Solid understanding of Ethereum, gas optimization, storage layout, and upgradeable contract patterns.
• Knowledge of DeFi concepts (token standards, staking, lending, AMMs, bridges, vaults, and governance).
• Experience with testing, debugging, and reviewing smart contracts.
• Familiarity with OpenZeppelin libraries and common vulnerabilities (reentrancy, access control, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust, TypeScript, Solana, or other blockchain ecosystems.
• Previous experience building or auditing DeFi protocols.
• Knowledge of advanced testing methods like fuzz testing, formal verification, or invariant testing.
• Familiarity with monitoring and indexing tools like The Graph, Etherscan, or Tenderly.
