Location: Must be based in the Washington, D.C. area with on-site customer travel required.

Salary: $188,000 — $258,500 USD

What you will do

  • Design and deliver AWS-based projects using Terraform, Helm, and Go for secure air-gapped environments.
  • Lead incident response and remediation, performing deep-dive troubleshooting and implementing preventive solutions.
  • Drive operational rigor through design and code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure deployments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to deliver enterprise-grade federal solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize customer-facing interactive workloads and large-scale batch processing systems.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in SRE or production cloud workloads.
  • 4+ years of experience developing and troubleshooting web services on Kubernetes.
  • Proven expertise in FedRAMP and IL6 compliance frameworks.
  • Experience architecting and deploying software within federal air-gapped environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
