What you will do

• Detect and report suspicious activity related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Analyze monitoring system alerts to identify potential fraud risks.
• Investigate cases of account takeover, authorized push payment fraud, and first-party fraud.
• Contact external partners to facilitate the recovery of victims' funds.
• Decide on refund eligibility for fraud victims.
• Drive projects to improve team processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (C1+ level).
• 2+ years of FinCrime experience.
• Must be able to work from the office in Mexico City.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with investigative methodologies and analytical tools like spreadsheets.

Nice to have

• Degree in law or STEM subject.
• Professional certification such as ICA or ACAMS.
• Experience with Authorised Push Payments or Account Takeover investigations.
• Fluency in additional languages.
