TL;DR

Human Resources Specialist: Managing the full employee lifecycle and employee relations for the Ontario-based team with an accent on compliance with provincial employment legislation. Location: Must be based in Toronto, ON

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and policy interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within BambooHR.
  • Ensure company policies remain compliant with Ontario employment standards.
  • Facilitate HR-related training sessions for staff and management.
  • Administer benefits enrollment and address employee inquiries regarding coverage.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience supporting an Ontario-based workforce.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act.
  • Experience managing HRIS systems, preferably BambooHR.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust across the organization.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation through HRPA.
