What you will do

• Influence the technical direction for critical backend systems and code execution engines.
• Build high-availability systems to support massive data throughput requirements.
• Improve action throughput and ensure balanced, fair job execution on multitenant stacks.
• Write and review high-quality, well-tested code across the stack.
• Own solutions from development through to production and respond to customer feedback.
• Collaborate on improving developer experience, including build times and testing infrastructure.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be based in Ireland.
• Foundational knowledge in Linux systems, container runtimes, or low-level system primitives (Rust or Go).
• Experience or interest in filesystem behavior, POSIX, and crash recovery.
• Strong debugging skills for kernel, runtime, and storage issues.
• Ability to work across the stack, including infrastructure and frontend, when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby, Rails, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS CDK.
• Interest in refining the use of LLMs for developer productivity.
