What you will do

• Lead the development of scalable React Native applications while enforcing rigorous testing and CI practices.
• Own architectural decisions and align technical choices with long-term business goals.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and architectural trade-offs.
• Champion AI-assisted development workflows to improve team velocity and code quality.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Step outside defined roles to assist with cross-platform efforts and unfamiliar parts of the stack.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with 4+ years focused on React Native.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Expo.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining complex, high-performance mobile applications.
• Experience with feature flagging, release management, and observability tools like Datadog or Crashlytics.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux.
• Strong knowledge of mobile design patterns and best practices.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end from prototype to rollout.
