TL;DR
Head of Customer Success (Fintech): Leading the customer success function to scale retention and expansion strategies for an AI-native revenue platform with an accent on operational excellence and team development. Location: Must be based in New York City and available to work 5 days per week in the Soho office.
Compensation: $216,000 – $276,000 plus equity.

What you will do
- Drive retention and expansion by managing renewal forecasts, risk, and day-to-day execution.
- Hire, develop, and lead the CS team, defining career paths and performance standards.
- Act as the senior escalation point to resolve complex customer issues and reset expectations.
- Design and refine the operating model, including staffing plans, success plans, and QBR cadences.
- Build reporting and tooling to provide leadership with visibility into account health and risk.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure seamless handoffs and product adoption.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in customer success or post-sale roles, with 5+ years in leadership.
- Must be based in New York City and able to work 5 days per week in the Soho office.
- Proven track record of building CS teams in high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech environments.
- Strong accounting and technical fluency, specifically with ASC 606, ERP integrations, and CRMs.
- Ability to balance hands-on individual contributor work with team management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial workflows into clarity.

- Background in accounting or finance software.
- CPA certification or Big Four experience.
